Ricefish sp. “Pearl Galaxy” ~ Oryzias Latipes sp. “Pearl Galaxy”
This Ricefish is called Pearl Galaxy, they are a white body ricefish, and display iridescent glimmer on their body giving a "galaxy" look, which is beautiful for a subtle looking fish. Like other ricefish, they have lovely blue eyes.
This is an excellent beginner fish, it is one of the hardiest available species and has a fantastic personality. They are very peaceful and active in the aquarium, always searching around occupying all areas of the aquarium if there is lots to explore
Planted tanks are ideal for them.
Ricefish are cool water species and do not require a heater and their filter requirements are minimal. They do not like much water flow in the aquarium so a sponge filter is the way to go.
