Subwassertang
Subwassertang is an excellent very easy to care for plant.
This plant is actually a very slow growing ‘liverwort’, and it does not grow any roots but will in time attach itself to wood, rocks or decor by growing into little cracks and crevices.
It is visually very appealing and does very well in low tech aquariums, just be sure not to let sediment/detritus build up under it- now and then give the water a swish to blow away anything that might be building up underneath to keep the water quality good! this plant prefers low light, so make sure to tuck it into a spot that will be shaded from direct light.
It makes an excellent hide away for shrimps and small fry and may help save some from predation in tanks with fish that might otherwise easily find them and eat them.
