Dusky Millions Livebearer (Phalloceros caudimaculatus)

These tranquil fish thrive best in a specialized aquarium designed for livebearers, characterized by dense planting and moderate/hard water conditions. They prefer moderate temperatures and are sensitive to large water changes, so frequent small water changes are recommended.

Breeding these fish is straightforward as they are viviparous, with gestation lasting approximately 24 days and yielding 10-50 offspring. When well-fed, the parent fish can coexist with their young in the same tank.
