Indian almond leaves are one of the most commonly used and preferred botanicals for shrimp keepers and blackwater tank habitats. These leaves release lots of tannins and humid acids, highly beneficial for many types of fish, shrimp and other invertebrates. 
We recommend boiling the leaves for 1-3 minutes before adding them to your aquarium.
