Betta Antuta - Locally Bred

Betta Antutas rank among the largest bettas within the Unimaculata Complex. Domesticated giant bettas pale in comparison to their wild counterparts in terms of size. Antutas grow to be 5-6” in length. These majestic fish are distinguished by their prominent scales on the head, reminiscent of dragon scales, and often exhibit iridescent markings from a partial to full mask on their face. When illuminated, they showcase a striking blue or teal hue.

• Ideal Temperature - 72° - 78° F (22° - 26° C) 
• pH - 6.0 - 8.0 (but prefer on the lower end)
• KH - 6 - 20 dGH
• Tank Size - minimum 20 gallon long for a pair 
• Carnivore - it is important not to over-feed bettas, as they are prone to obesity and that can shorten their life or cause health issues.
• Difficulty - easy
