Aponogeton Ulvaceus

Aponogeton Ulvaceus is a great choice for low-tech aquariums that need a nice large centerpiece.

Specifically, it is a simple bulb plant that can grow slow or fast according to its lighting and water conditions. The bulb should be placed on the substrate and never buried. The leaves grow long, and will fill up a large space, making this plant a gorgeous main display for any aquarium. The Aponogeton Ulvaceus delivers beautiful wavy leaves that can look like spirals in the water.

Like other bulb plants, the main stalk that produces a flower can be cut off to keep the plant from flowering. If the plant does flower, you can be creative and try to propagate the plant by careful pollination.
