Anubias Barteri

Anubias Barteri is a very hardy aquatic plant, and is easy to care for, making it an ideal choice for low tech aquariums. 

This plant is a slow growing rhizome plant that grows large luscious leaves. The rhizome does best when it is attached to wood or rocks. The rhizome should not be buried in the substrate because it will eventually rot. 

Anubias Barteri is a great low-tech plant and is visually appealing with its large green leaves. The leaves can be very useful for creating a lower light for plants that enjoy a dimmer light. That being said, make sure the plants underneath are getting the right amount of light sources.
