Stemmed Plants

These plants grow from a single stem and can be planted 2"-3" into the substrate or allowed to float as they obtain nutrients from the water column rather than their root system. Each stem should be planted individually and not as a group. Examples of stemmed plants are: Ludwiga, Hygrophila and Rotala.
